Year 4 have had a very exciting afternoon! We spent a wonderful lesson outside exploring the world around us as part of our forest school session. This included den building, painting, bug hunting and our first lesson on how to light a fire. However, the enthusiasm for learning continued when we explored structures and built our own using cocktail sticks and marshmallows. Your children should sleep well tonight! #stbartsway #soar

Our Mini Police were invited to the opening of the new pirate ship at Jubilee Lake Play Park. The ribbon was cut and the pirate ship declared open. The children spent time playing on the pirate ship, checking everything was just right Their behaviour was exemplary! Year five had an incredible time yesterday diving into the world of the author Phillip Pullman, for Legacy day. After exploring his life and writing their own biographies, they mapped out his books in chronological order to see how his storytelling evolved.
