Inspired by the story Leaf Man by Lois Ehlert, the children in Owls and Cygnets created their own leaf characters from the autumn leaves, twigs and helicopters falling around the school. #soar #stbartsway
Kingfishers really enjoyed learning about Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah, and why they dip apple in honey and eat pomegranate seeds during this celebration. The best part was trying it ourselves! #soar #stbartsway

In Puffins today they learnt about the festival of Rosh Hashanah. As part of the celebrations the children tried pomegranates, apples and honey which symbolise a sweet new year! #soar #stbartsway
First Charlie composed an image by putting together parts of other pictures. Then, he scratched his image into the mixed media paper he had created by brushing black paint over wax crayons. What a fabulous effect! #stbartsway #soar
